CMC Static-Pro

CMC Static-Pro is an extremely low-stretch kernmantle rope made from 100% high tenacity polyester, classified to NFPA standards for high lines, long rappels, hauling and mechanical advantage systems.

Key Features and Highlights

UL Classified: Certified to NFPA standards.
Static Kernmantle Construction: Block creel construction with a 100% high tenacity polyester (HTP) fiber core.
Balanced Sheath: 32-strand braided sheath, with half the strands twisted left (Z) and half right (S), for a balanced, torque-free rope with maximum abrasion resistance.
Heat Resistant: Melt point of 480°F (249°C).
Made in the USA.

Materials and Construction

CMC Static-Pro is offered in 11 mm (7/16 in), rated NFPA Technical Use, weighing 2.9 kg (6.5 lb) per 100 ft with a minimum breaking strength of 35.2 kN (7,915 lbf) and a maximum length of 762 m (2,500 ft); and in 12.5 mm (1/2 in), rated NFPA General Use, weighing 3.9 kg (8.5 lb) per 100 ft with a minimum breaking strength of 40.8 kN (9,164 lbf) and a maximum length of 549 m (1,800 ft). Both diameters are available in 150, 200 and 300 ft lengths or custom lengths, in a range of colors.
