- Lightweight 9.5 mm Design: Built for minimalist, remote rope access and rescue operations.
- Technora Sheath: Technora sheath resists abrasion, cuts, and heat in harsh conditions.
- Sewn Terminations: Sewn ends provide secure, knotless, high-strength connections that reduce operational risk.
- Color-Coded Tracers: Available with red or blue tracers to simplify communication and keep systems organized.
CMC T95
CMC T95 is a strong, durable and lightweight 9.5 mm Technora/Nylon rope built for remote operations, rated NFPA Technical Use and heat tolerant, with sewn terminations and two tracer color options.
Key Features and Highlights
- Lightweight and Minimalist: Built for lightweight, minimalist and remote operations.
- Technora Sheath: Delivers exceptional abrasion, cut and heat resistance in harsh conditions.
- Reliable Core: A nylon core provides high strength, smooth handling and reliable knotability, with low elongation for improved performance in long spans and haul systems.
- Sewn Terminations: Quick, secure, high-strength, knotless connections that reduce operational risk and are stronger than a tied knot in small-diameter rope, since knots can reduce rope strength by up to 50%.
- Organized Systems: Two polyester tracer options (red or blue) and detailed rope end labels, including A and B side indicators, simplify communication and setup.
- Versatile: Compatible with aramid friction hitches and optimized for lightweight hardware devices; sewn terminations can accommodate multiple attachments for expert users.
Who Is This Product For?
Ideal for: remote mountain rescue, cave rescue and other austere operations where a lightweight, high-strength rope with knotless sewn terminations is essential.
Materials and Construction
CMC T95 has a kernmantle construction with a Technora sheath and nylon core. It measures 9.5 mm (3/8 in) in diameter and is rated NFPA Technical Use, with a rope minimum breaking strength of 32.4 kN (7,300 lbf) and a sewn termination minimum breaking strength of 24.4 kN (5,500 lbf). Elongation per UL classification is 2.9% at 1.35 kN (300 lbf), 5.2% at 2.7 kN (600 lbf) and 8.0% at 4.4 kN (1,000 lbf). Available in 150 ft (3.17 kg / 6.99 lb) and 300 ft (6.28 kg / 13.84 lb) lengths, in red or blue. Made in the USA.
