The KONG Elastic Tether Double is a double-arm elastic safety tether designed to enhance safety during sailboat racing and offshore sailing. Suitable for both racing and cruising environments, it combines lightweight construction, secure dual attachment points, and ergonomic handling for maximum safety at sea.
The tether features two lightweight double-acting aluminium safety carabiners with automatic locking gates, preventing accidental release from attachment points while allowing easy one-motion opening. An integrated tension indicator with a bright overload flag clearly signals when the tether has been subjected to excessive load and must be replaced.
Its internal elastic design retracts when not under tension, keeping both arms compact and out of the way during movement on deck.
